Seventh Observation

On Tuesday the 13th, I went to the RecPlex to see how the gym's personal trainers differ from what the athletes at Nova get. The gym's trainers did more exercises with weight machines and kept the intensity of the workout low. There was no screaming or clapping when the client pushed there limit, unlike with the athletes. The uniform of the trainers had no connection, everyone just had some type of RecPlex logo on their shirt. Nova's trainers all have certain colored shirts that they wear on specific days. The clients also were more relaxed and seemed as if they were just going through the motions of the workout. It seemed as if the client already knew what the next exercise would be, because it seems that they do the same routine every session. The gym's trainers were very friendly and wanting to assist you in anyway. Sometimes to much kindness could be bad in a trainer. Nova's trainers seem more tough and determined to make the athlete push themselves to the max. The overall atmosphere is different, which is caused by the trainer.
